Hey Everyone!Hope your families, vibes and pets are fine.My Tire Pressure warning light came on. All 4 tires were at 30psi. Don't know which one set off the light or if all of them did...So, I pumped them all up to 40psi. Let's see if the gas consumption goes down a bit.

The tire pressure system probably doesn't actually monitor tire pressure. It probably measures the rate that the tires rotate and presumes that one of them is low. The light on my Olds Alero used to go off all the time even though the tires were fine. Pump up the tires to the recommended pressure before resetting it to avoid the system reading it incorrectly.

Reset? It did it on it's own. The light went out after I restarted.

The TPM light can go off when the wheel hits a bump, pothole, etc.Follow the reset procedure in the owner's manual to the letter.Quote, originally posted by Nelson »So, I pumped them all up to 40psi. Personally, I would not overinflate a tire, since it reduces the amount of tire that contacts the road and makes it much stiffer. Reference: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...hid=1

I don't know how they work with the Vibes but my wife's 2006 RAV4 tire pressure light came on and it took me a while to figure out that it also monitored the spare tire....and with the fall in temperatures that was the tire that was slightly low.
