My DC Sports Header just came in today! I won't have time to bring it to a shop to have them install it today, and I won't be able to tomorrow either, but Friday is a going to be a good day I cannot wait to see this go in. Just one question, how long would it take to install this by myself, assuming i have the jack stands (which i dont)?****EDIT****Here's one of the pics guys! Enjoy

So does the Vibe just have one header?

It took me about an hour and a half to jam it in there. And yes, the vibe has only one header.

The most difficult part for me was squeezing it over the valve cover. Its a tight fit, but with a little shoving it went in fine. Once over the valve cover it was smooth sailing. Pretty easy install overall.

if you look behind the engine you'll see that silver heat shield. Both of those need to come off then disconnect and pull it out. on a 1zz it can be pulled from above.

Yeah i know that much, because we actually had removed the whole heat shield today as we were installing it, but we were strained for time and decided to just have a shop do it. I mean they will have the right tools to do the job and will do it as quickly as possible. It's not a matter of "can I do it?" its more a matter of "how much time do I have" lol.I actually have a picture of the header and also of me laying on my engine pulling the heat shield out from behind the hood (removed). It's quite funny so I will put them up here lol. Notice the shine on my intake. Freshly cleaned

I'm simply stating I go to school to be a Toyota Tech. I technically have no title yet till I graduate. But yes we know, we are going to do this on a cold engine. I'm dropping it off at noon at the shop tomorrow and it's gonna be done by the time I get back at 530 no doubt. Can't wait!
