sad news today, to learn of the passing of Paul Newman. Never will we see another actor with that much style, talent and charisma. RIP.

I don't think I've ever seen any of his movies, but thank you for all your compassion and charitable work, Paul & Joanne!Quote, originally posted by K-NINE »I'm a big fan of salad dressing. It's not just salad dressing. It's a whole company of organic products. Profits after taxes go to charities. Products included popcorn, and my favorite, Hint 'O Mint Newman O's! If you're into older movies, you can't go wrong with Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy, etc. If you like newer films Road to Perdition is excellent if you're into drama and the Hudsucker Proxy if you need a laugh. Grab some Newman popcorn and give it a go .

I haven't seen any of the movies either that I recall....But a wonderful man for touching the lives of so many people. The food is great too! I don't get to eat it much since it's a bit more expensive but I do enjoy it. Newman o's are the bomb. The dogs absolutely love the Newman's Own organic peanut butter treat thingies as well. Hopefully that tradition can continue.

Thanks, Bodhi, I'll have to do that-rent some of his movies. I didn't even know Newman's Own made dog treats, C.P., thanks! I'll be looking for that tomorrow when I go to work near the natural food store...all this talk about Newman O's...

He owns the Milford Volvo/Mazda dealership right around the corner from me. When my parents bought their 2009 XC70 recently they got a goody bag with Newman's own stuff, he makes more than Salad Dressing. He passed in Westport, CT down the road from me pretty much. Lots of memorial stuff around the town towards him, it's a sad loss.If you have ever seen the movie Cars (Disney Pixar). He was Doc, the Hudson Hornet! And if you ever saw Slapshot, one of the funniest movies ever!
