Stock M&T head unit with new trait.

My Stock moon & tunes headunit has developed a new feature it never had before.It now has a 3 to 5 sec retained power mode. So when I turn off and remove the key the radio will remain going for about 3-5 seconds before shutting off.IT used to shut off as soon as you turn off and remove the key.Not sure what is wrong but I dont think i can complain. I like the retained power mode that alot of other vehicles have.

You might want to try spraying some sort of lube in the ignition cylinder... There is a plunger of sorts in the lock mech, as the key is put in, it pushed this plunger that, in turn has the switched power connected, as the key comes back out, that plunger "may" not be returning to the home position and may be sticky..
