Any opinions out there on this? How much does it cost?

How much does it cost?I know there are places that DO it, but I couldn't tell you any(you might call tire rack and see if they could recomend anyone in your area??)... doing it to a "normal" tire is a last resort, it tends to chew up the tire rather bad (one that isn't designed with them in mind) because usually the rubber compound is harder... You would be FAR better of getting a cheap set of snows man... I know it's extra expense, but in the end, it will be cheaper to just get some snows if you are worried..

Never heard of it before, but this company describes it and talks it up as a miraclehttp://www.lesschwab.com/siping.asp but they seem to be left coast
