Air intake inserts, fuel line magnets, hydrogen kits...

On motorweek this weekend, Pat Goss of Goss' Garage discussed how air intake inserts (Tornado), fuel line magnets and water/hydrogen kits available on the market are all junk. I tend to agree with ol' Goss and don't have any of these on my Vibe. There has been a fair amount of discussion here about these types of products. What's everyone else's opinions and/or experiences with these products?

Many of the major automobile companies are in big financial trouble at the moment and are facing great pressure to improve fuel economy of their vehicles. If there were an easy way to do so without some major downside (drivability, durability, etc.) then I'm sure their engineers would already be incorporating it into their designs. None of these gadgets is a big secret - and none of them seem to make much sense.
