sir-gm1-does it work in an '09

I have searched, and while I have found some info on this unit, I have yet to find anything definitive on the '09. I prefer Sirius to XM. I am aware of the merger, but I like to listen to Howard Stern and the NFL, among others. I have a plug and play right now. I have the wires hidden as best as I can, but i would prefer a clean stock look in my car. If anyone has tried using this kit, I would appreciate any feedback before I plunk down $80 and my time. Thanks.
