Well they tried to deliver my springs today but I wasn't there. For some reason they want an in-person signature(for springs). I signed the slip they left and hopefully they will just leave the box at my door tomorrow. It was shipped Purolator/DHL, btw.Anyone else want to join in the fun on Saturday?

Hey Brian, I didn't have any rubbing issues with my Hotchkis. Will these springs be as low as the Hotchkis? I would like to come and help but I'm in Chicago right now for a job assignment. Good luck on the install!

Thanks, Martin I was wondering since I have your rims and tires, which have a little higher profile than a normal 17" set-up for the Vibe.

I finished at 8:30pm so 4hrs. 15min. That is the last time I change my springs. It kicked my A$$. I am beat! after the install I am at 13-1/2" on the front (center of wheel to top of wheel well arch) and 15" on the rear. Hopefully the fronts stay where they ar at and the rears drop a 1/2"-1". I took it out for a drive and the ride is smoother than my modified oem springs. I didnt get on it too hard, I'll save that for tomorrow. I will also go to my usual spot and take some "after" pics. My 17" wheel/tire set-up has a little higher profile than normal so I only have about 1 finger between the top of the front wheel and the top of the wheel well arch, unlike KeithVibe and Feenikz who both have 2 fingers of space. The drop looks really good! Can't wait to get it washed and take some pics tomorrow. Time for some Beer! to celebrate my victory and to dull the body aches.....

the backs will settle more takes about 48hrsfor it to drop. The fronts only settled another .25inches for me. So the fronts shouldn't.LOL getting too old hu?It's not a hard job just time comsuming.looking good b.... enjoy the ride.Told you the ride isn't harsh.

Quote, originally posted by damronjr »Lookin' good, Brian! Thanks Jason. I'm loving the look. Quote, originally posted by northvibe »looks about the same height as my hotckis were! nice!!! did anyone stop by or was it just you?Yup Pretty close to the Hotchkis on the 2WD Vibes. The AWD Vibe's rear was a lot lower with the Hotchkis. It was just me. It was a crappy rainy day so, it wa s perfect day to do it.Quote, originally posted by kevera » Thanks! I agree! Quote, originally posted by keithvibe »the backs will settle more takes about 48hrsfor it to drop. The fronts only settled another .25inches for me. So with every thing in the back and a full tank I should be close to 14" which is perfect. Yeah, I'm getting old....or maybe I just need to exercise...lol. I'm a little stiff and sore in a few spots nto as bad as I thought I was going to be though...lol. Well, the rear lower shock bolt were a pain in the (removed) for me again using an open ended wrench to try and loosed a bolt that is torqued down to 150ftlbs..has gotten harder. Thanks! the ride was great last night, much better than the Stock springs, The Hotchkis Springs and the Modified OEM springs. Since these Canuck Motorsport Springs have a lifetime no-sag guarantee, I'll just keep these on for ever now. It has been raining all day today so I'll get some better pics in my usual spot after it clears up.

thats three happy campers now.... who's NEXT!!! Come on you awd people..Brian did you notice a slight shudder between 20mph and 25mph in first or second gear with the drop?I got this shudder now and so does the other guy on MO. I think it's the different pinion angle with the drop.I have been keeping an eye on the springs and they haven't moved below the 14"mark on all four corners.Invest in a bigger breaker bar for the next time you need a new strut.

I'll be feeling for it though. Atfer I put everything back in the cargo area and filled up the tank, I am at 14" on the rears. Perfect. Still raining here, but here is a pic with the garage door open so you can see the rear better.
