Is this similar to what all of you do when you detail your Vibe? Seems like he cut a couple corners... http://www.detailingworld.co.u...79859

If I had his $$$ I would be doing that, not to mention that kinda time. I like how he used some Meguiar's products, but it seems to follow what I do pretty much aside from testing the paint depth. But he also used a cutting wheel with intensive polish on the paint so measuring paint depth would be worthwhile to ensure you were not removing too much coating or buring the paint. Especially on a white car where it is harder to see up close. Good detail though.

Insane detail. But like Whelan said, If I had the time or money, I could do it too. I have the knowledge. But not the tools. =[ But that is amazing. I was really interested in the thing the car sat on when he washed it.

Also keep note that paint on extics like that is pretty much rock hard compared to everyday auto paint. They do not have the orange peel affect on them, they are probably sanded by hand to maintain perfection during the process.Just like an Audi or BMW to a degree where the paint is very hard so the use of a wheel such as that would work the best.
