i have a mat in my cargo area with a sub box w/ 2 10" subs on top of it. anyone know how to secure it so it doesnt slide without making it look to tacky? i was think maybe trying to put velcro on my mat so the carpeted box kinda sticks, but still working on it. any ideas?

I'm sketching out a plan for a single driver sub box that hooks into the cargo tie-down track behind the left passenger's (smaller fold down)) seat. Perhaps you could figure out how hook into the rails to hold your sub box in place.Just an idea.KSNeptune.

I used the tie downs.

I went to Target into the kitchen area. I picked up some of those soft grippy mats that you would find in a cupboard or inside a drawer. I layed some of it in the back of my Vibe and my sub hasn't moved since then!

I went to Home Depot / Lowe's, got a couple of U-bolts and two of those nylon straps. I drilled into the sides of the box (I have 2x10" in a sealed box), used the nylon straps to strap into the metal tie-downs on the sides of the trunk, just behind the seats... That keeps it from moving ANYwhere..I do like Nick's idea tho..never thought of that..

Mine is not attatched to anything... With my floor mat, it does not move.
