Anyone else tried this on their Vibe? If so, did you do all 3 steps (Intake (1/3 can), Fuel Tank (1/3 can) and crankcase (1/3 can prior to oil change). I was thinking of only doing the intake and fuel tank since I recently had my oil changed. Did you notice any benefits? (smoother engine, better acceleration, better mileage)?Thanks

I just use a good strong dose in the tank. As lean as modern EFI ECU controlled engines run, carbon build-up just isn't an issue. I also do frequent oil changes (synthetic) so sludge build-up is also not an issue.

I've never used it in my Vibe, but I did use it in an old motorcycle that had been sitting for a few years. I had a few nasty backfires with the first half tank of gas, but after that, the bike ran much better.

I used to use Seafoam quite a bit, then I realized techron does the same thing. After some reading, i saw Seafoam doesnt have spectacular ingredients and about half of it is pale oil. I did the same seafoam steps but replaced it with a bottle of concentrate techron & got the white smoke effects also.But I got the best results by taking out the spark plugs and pouring techron right into the cylinders. Then I cranked the engine to let it slush around a bit for a few seconds, replaced the plugs & blew out some white smoke for 5 min.

i seafoamed my '99 cavalier you wouldn't believe all the crap that came out of the tail pipe. i put all of it in the intake.

I've used SeaFoam on by wife's van. Everytime it starts knocking, I pour half a can of Seafoam in the gas tank and it goes away for 3-4 months.
