Thinking of Swapping the Vibe for...

Post by gr8vibe »

I really really digg the new style of the new Vues. Anyone wanna chime in on your experience with them? if you drove em? But then again, the vibes paid off and its barely 2 yrs old. So i dont know what to do!

My friend has one. Nice car, but your fuel mileage, even with the FWD four cylinder is going to drop dramatically. Keep your Vibe until it dies. It's paid off, no need to switch vehicles.

The Vue is a nice looking SUV, but the AWD Vibe equals or beats it in almost every category except cargo space. The Vue has 8 cu. ft. more space and it gets worse gas mileage. The Vue will cost you a few thousand more too. Go test drive a new Vibe and a Vue and see which one you like better. I am biased here, I love my 09 Vibe. Take one for a spin before you look at the others. I still think the Vue is a nice ride, but the Vibe gives better bang for the buck.

ya, I have decided that no matter what, we're paying off the 2 current vehicles! I'm tired of paying every month on a car.

I test drove one when I was looking to replace the Vibe. It was between the Vue and the Rogue. The Rogue won. The Vue felt more truck like than car like and was louder and didnt handle as well as the Rogue. I don't regret my decision in the least.

There was another member here not so long ago that made the exodus from a Pontiac Vibe to a Saturn Vue, not sure if he/she is still around.

We have an '06 Vue with the Honda VTEC V6. It will flat haul the mail and get 28 mpg when you behave. Amazingly quick and does a great job of towing the scoots. click

Drove the Vue Redline, wasn't that impressed. Felt very bulky and heavy.

I'm not a big Saturn fan. My wife likes the Vue, but wouldn't be my first choice.
