Any regrets? Something you wish you thought about or got as option or etc?

I'm quite pleased with my choice. There were a few options I would have liked but they weren't available at the time (hood deflector, mudflaps, etc) so I had to get them from 3rd parties. My biggest surprise is the rear cargo organiser-thing. I thought this would be a useless joke but I find myself using every week to hold the groceries in place.I'm also happy to have the front passenger seat that can fold flat since the trunk lid can't be held with rope if you have long objects and can't close the lid. This is something I realised AFTER I bought the car, when I was trying to shove a 7 feet long box in the car.

My only regrets is I bought my car too early! Since now they are 0% on 60 months, and when I bought it it was 5,4% on 60 months, it's a big difference. For the car itself, no regrets!

1. 06 still had the 36k or 3 yr warranty, not the good 5yr 100K...2. would have gotten a Manual over Auto3. I would have gotten the GT over base (not as important to me as the other 2)

1) Wish I had purchased instead of leased.2) Dealer had no Vibes with leather trim left.3) Wouldn't have bought the roof racks/ski racks from the dealer. Found out they were much cheaper going right from Thule. 4) Wouldn't have got the monsoon sound system, since everything has been changed out now anyways.5) Wish I would have gotten the top spoiler.

The only regrets I had were with my recently traded 06. I did not get the 100K warranty, ABS, side air bags or Onstar. All of this is included in my new 09 plus the 2.4L engine. Absolutely no regrets now.

I wish I had cruise control. But by making that sacrifice, I got a hell of a deal. I suppose if I really wanted it, I could have it installed aftermarket with the money I saved.

I see $500 cash in the states... and yea, would have been nice to wait a month for the cash... but for $500, not a big deal...

Now at 0%, I'd have saved more than $3000...That sucks bad.The car rules so far though.

Wish I hadn't gotten talked out of getting the C package with the sunroof. Otherwise I'm just trying to get used to the new vibe over the old one I've driven.

The only thing that bugs me is the lack of Intermittent Wipers... the two settings are never the right speed. But i would of had to pay for the next package up to get them. Other then that i'm pretty happy with my choice.

I agree, a fifth gear would be nice.. it definatly doesn't have the guts that my 06 honda civic had when it came to highway crusing, especially on the hills.

That's crazy. It does have one fixed intermittent setting according to the brochure, that's not enough. When I was looking around at the GT they had open for us at the OH meet, IIRC even the fancy, expensive version only had 3 intermittent delay settings.

You have to pick more than the 2.4L to get the variable intermittent wipers, cause I have the 2.4L and can't set the speed of them. You have to take the 1C equipement group, or something like that.

the intermitten wipers are standard on the GT model, but for the base 2.4 and awd model you need to get the preferred package to get them.

The 1.8 models may have Variable Intermittent Wipers installed from the factory, but the owner can not access the feature due to the stalk not having that setting. Good chances one could purchase a stalk from a Toyota or Pontiac Dealer for the 2.4 litre version for a GT that has the setting, install it, and all would be well. Toyota has done this in the past with other models which was quickly remedied by adding a different stalk from a higher trim level.
