2009 GT Rim Question...

I just noticed that the Pontiac logo cap cover that goes over the center of the rim(protecting the bolts) is missing on the front two tires. Those don't come off that easily. I'm thinking someone may have been thinking about jacking the rims. Anyone have this happen and do you think if I go to a local Pontiac dealership they'll spare me a few w/o raping me for them? Thanks!

Great post I've already lost all but one of mine with only 5000mi. How do we turn this into a class-action item? GM wont cover the loss since the caps are considered wear and tear items. Just so you know I thought someone jacked mine as well but shortly after I ordered new ones for over $50 total!! at $22 a piece!! Those came off right away and I never even noticed, but I think thats BS I may buy a new set and glue them in. As far as I can tell don't run your vibe in an automatic car wash or on a dirt road, I think thats where I lost mine.

So true and GM doesn't give a rats @ss. I already called customer care each separate time I lost one of them

GM Dealer replaced the three I lost under warranty, maybe I got lucky, but they said no problem, GM knows of the problem and dealer covered them under warranty. I used clear RTV silicon to secure mine, as per sugesstion by one of the forum members.

That sounds like a good securing solution. My problem is I bought my car in GA and now I'm in CO so the local pontiac dealer here could care less And the GM customer care told me that I'm SOL as well
