LOL! When are we gonna get some damn rain? I hate having to water my grass! On the up-side I haven't had to mow in the last 3 weeks. So it is kind of a love-hate feeling. Anyone else drying up?

I've had to mow every 4-5 days all summer. We have gotten plenty of rain. I'll see if we can push the next round west for you.

I don't have a lack of precipitation... on the contrary, it seems like it's rained the entire summer albeit maybe 2 weeks??

We had some rain over the weekend, and the plants that were around really appreciated all the water. I just wish more had showed up.It's not just the thunderstorms either, it's all kinds of rain. I miss the way things used to be be a few years ago, when we would get lots of all kinds of rain. Easy rain, hard driving rain, thurderstorms with hail, multiday soakers. Weathermen used to call for rain and it would actually rain. These weatherpeople who says it's going to rain and then don't follow through with actual precipitation are so lame. I think we need more hard core rain. The kind of rain that will fall even if it's not convenient. Rain that will fall when it says it will, won't just show up on the radar and then fizzle out before it gets here.

We've had the rainiest summer I can remember. It rains a little every day and there's been at least 15 heavy thunderstorms. Of the first 23 days of June, it rained 21 days. The grass and trees are more lush than most years in May.

I'm from SoCal, it doesn't rain here May thru October, and even the other months, it usually doesn't rain much.

so they were calling for a lot of rain here today, with mega Tstorms in the evening. Over the weekend I rain-X'ed my new windshield, and yesterday I put on a new set of wiper blades because the last time I used the old ones they streaked terribly. no rainI put on a set of Trico "neoform" blade wipershttp://www.tricoproducts.com/b...=5214The packaging for them said "Aerodynamic spolier helps reduce windlift and enhances styling"So now I'm driing a Vibe with enhanced styliing. THe package also said" Innovative design provides constant pressure for uniform wipeExclusive wiping element with Teflon© resin for longer life and smoother wiping"for some reason, those last two lines reminded me of drunkenmaxx

I like this weather radar site. http://www.wbaltv.com/interactive-radar/index.htmlwhich is a Baltimore centered variant of the orignal at http://www.myweather.net/mywx/index.aspI'm not sure how to have it come up centered on a custom location, but you can pan around. Might only cover the US. I like the little storm cell icons with movement vectors

Maybe someone should do a dance or something to stop all this rain we've been having this summer.I can't handle cutting my grass 3 times a week anymore,it doesn't want to stop growing.

funny... i have had very little rain. Just a few thunder boomers now and again.. just enough to cut the grass about 1once every 2weeks or so.
