...about helping spark this Firestorm of venting. I was just wondering what other people thought about the lack of attendance at the meet and why people weren't able to go. That's all. I never thought it would cause this much chaos and especially the Mod bashing. That was not my intention at all. I wasn't there and couldn't go, so I probably should have just kept my mouth shut...lol.. Hopefully, people won't take other member's comments too personally and stay on the site. .PS - I have not seen this much posting activity on the site in a long time....hopefully something good will come out of it.

I took it at face value, you were curious. I don't see any need for you to apologize. I wanted to go to Gatlinburg, but knew well in advance that I couldn't due to family obligations, so I didn't sign up. The site went down just before the meet, which caused greater frustration for those involved. I say let them vent, it will calm down soon enough and maybe something good will come of it.

hey briani don't think there's any need to apologize. the poll started innocently enough, just pressed some buttons, which maybe would have been pressed sooner or later. same thing happened to me. when i realized i couldn't go, the only post i made in the event thread was that i for sure wasn't gonna make ithappens with every project...you look at it and say 'how was it' 'what could have been done better?' blah blah blah.i'm sure its all good

I personaly don't think you should feel sorry man...You have every right to post anything you want, within the rules of course... Some just take it a lot more seriously than others... Same on any car forum... My Subie forum is BAD BAD BAD for that... You think this is bad, you should spend a day or 3, on some of my other forums.. this is childs play..

don't feel bad, most of these issues have been stemming for a long time and this just ignited the fire. it was bound to happen sooner or later. I hope everyone is done venting now so we can move on.
