Bred our female to a dog that was collected 17 years ago (he died 3 years ago) and she had two pups. Vet gave her a 20% chance of conception so he was pleasantly surprised when she popped 2 out on July 9.http://caninesportsrec.com/puppies/puppies.html

Breed standard for females is 35-50 lbs and dogs 45-60 so not too large. They are often confused with their larger cousins the Malamute. They are finally getting up on their legs and wobbling around. Next few weeks they will begin to look more like dogs and less like piglets.
I like when they get old enough for puppy combat. It won't be long before they're into everything in sight.

I don't allow vets to palpate as I have mixed feelings on what that does to developing embryos. That being said, we did an ultrasound at 25 days and he saw the two pups then and was pleased. His comment about 20% was during the consultation but he was still pleased that she had the two pups :-)I always look forward to the pups learning to wrestle but even more fun is when we introduce new pups to the rest of the clan

Very cool man, they look really healthy... I remember when we had a bunch of Jack puppies running around... hilarity ensued.. (there's a rat in the mix to)
