Just decided to go with a Vibe, so now the question is where??. Any recommendations on a good dealer (a specific sales person would be great too), within a 50 mile radius(or so) of Madison? Thanks!

I got mine in Sheboygan, Martin Pontiac. Also Meyer Motors here in Plymouth is Very good sales and service. And I am seeing a lot of Vibes in Fondulac. But that might be out of your range.

I just picked mine up last week from Stark Sun Prarie (Formerally Wentworth Motors)My experience with them was nothing short of amazing and I would highly recommend them. My sales person, Sandy Pertzborn was knowledgeable about the Vibe, took the time to explain everything about the car, and did a wholly thorough job in presenting the car to me - she was absolutly great! The deaership had problems getting me a Vibe through a dealer trade (other dealerships kept selling them!) but they finally found me one, and ended up giving us an extended warranty (5/56k or something like that) at cost, which was awesome!Stark over in Stoughton didn't have too many when I was there, and neither did Don Miller Pontiac - I would definately check out Stark Sun Prarie, the old moto of the place was "Where we treat you like family" and it's true :D(Should you DO go and see Sandy, drop off my name, "Jon Camp" and let her know that I recommended her to ya, it's the least I can do to pay her back for all the stuff she did to help me get this car!)

Just returned from Stark(Sun Prairie) actually, and started the whole purchasing process. So I'm on the way to becoming a Vibe owner. I'm looking forward to giving up my 2001 Jetta, that has defied everything I ever heard about VW. It has been nothing but trouble, mechanically and dealing with VW Service Departments.I had visited them last week, and dealt with Ron Poquette, so he got the sale today. He was very good with showing the car, and generous with the test drive. If I hadn't been watching, I probably could have driven all the way to Columbus. In terms of the sale, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he was clearly in a rush. He was working 2 of us at once. This is only my second vehicle(trading in the first), so it's hard to say how it went. Not bad for the second time I guess. The VIN I was given is for a Vibe at Don Miller, but still no confirmation on whether it's available. I'm heading down to see it tonight after they close.I'll report back when it's actually in my garage. Thanks!!

Just ran into the same problem at Stark. Apparently the Vibe I thought was mine had been sold over the weekend, and not pulled from inventory yet. Finding a Vibe base with ABS has been very difficult. They think they found one now, just have to give up my first choice of Neptune for Salsa(third or 4th choice) instead.

Finding an ABS Shadow with Power/Moon Tunes was almost impossible to find for me, but I was also being very picky (Shadow or Satallalite, or nothing else) and they found it amazingly enough.hopefully you'll get yours soon, good luck! :D

If you have any problems with that dealer, try Holiday Automotive in Fond du Lac, WI. They have 4-6 vibes on the lot at any time. Plus they have a guy that does custom striping that you can have added into the sticker price
