question about the automatic lights on the 2009's

i know the 09 vibes have auto headlights...and the previous years as well...but do they have a delay timer? like at night after you turn off your car does it turn off after a certain amount of time or does it turn off once you shut off the engine? my current car's auto light turns off 45seconds after i lock my doors...i kinda like that so it keeps the area lit while i walk to my home and stuff. also, how sensitive are the 09's auto lights? i've read the previous years ones are pretty sensitive. thanks

With mine there is No delay once you shut off the car the lights go off at same time.there is however a couple second delay while the car is running before the sensor turns the lights on or off. And yes it can be sensitive for some... turnning on and off under bridges or something like that.

there is no delay on the 09.

oh ok cool...i guess it's a good thing so it doesn't eat the batteries when the car's off.
