What year car do you have? I use Yakima on mine, and they do have a rack available for the '09 Matrix, but not the '09 Vibe yet.

There may be some discussion on this posted from the past. I bought Thule crossbars and attachments for the side bars that are on the Vibe. I then bought clamps for a Matrix that hook to the roof above the front doors. This allows for a longer spread. If you use the online Thule custom fit guide, first choose Vibe for parts that connect to side rails, then use guide for Matrix.

I have GM roof racks Utility Bar Part No 12489230. They must be made by Thule because they look the same. I added a Thule Fairing to cut down on the wind nose. The rack fits like a glove and with the fairing adds a sporty look. If you get a faring get 872XT it is longer than the one recommended by Thule but it fits and looks better as it wraps around the utility bar for OE look. Fairing cost $90 here in Nova Scotia probably cheaper in the States. Racks will set you back about $180. Hope that helps. I have 2005. These racks won't work on 2009.
