Question:I've had my Vibe for a couple weeks now. It seems to be shifting harsher. There is a definite "grab" when it shifts. At least I'm noticing it now. Especially at slow speeds. Normal? Something to keep an eye on? Perhaps it is just a smaller and lighter vehicle and I'm noticing the shift more than the heavier cars I've owned in the past. Thanks!

Are you flooring it and its shifting up, are you keeping the gas pedal lightly pressed and letting it shift at 3k? need a little more info.

Light on the gas. Kind of like rolling through a parking lot then giving a little gas to pull onto a street. There is a hesitation and then wham, it's in gear. It doesn't clunk or make any noise. The RPMs don't go up, so it's not slipping.I saw in another thread about '05 models starting a "drive by wire" system. What's that about?
