Here is my problem guys I want to remove my upper spoiler, do you know how to/ or is it possible to remove the metal piece that the spoiler is mounted to so that I would be able to fill the holes in. Or is that piece part of the tailgate. Thanks

Hi WagonMafia,I do believe that comes off. Open the hatch window, you should see the bolts somewhere near where the bolts for the Spoiler is. On a side note, My after-market spoiler came with plastic plugs for the holes just in case I ever took it off. I also saw similar plugs at Lowe's so you may be able to just plug them if you find the right size. These plugs are less than $2 a piece, I believe.Dave

I think youd have to find a new top piece or bondo/sand/paint the old one. Once you drill holes you're kinda screwed if that spoiler is taken off.

I'm trying to figure out though if that piece is removable

as far as I can see the peice can be removed since its on a pivot im not to sure though I havn't opened up my back window in a very long time haha so why are you taking off the back spoiler if you dont mind me asking??

I would like some roof rack caps, and I dont think it will look right with the spoiler
