I went to my dealer for my oil change this morning and apparently they just started using tis new oil that allows you to go 244,132miles or 3 months between oil changes. Now, I don't drive as much as I used to now that my work is only 1 mile away and there is no way I could ever drive that much in three months maybe in 20 years...lol

That's definately worth the trip down to Minnesota. Lifetime oil? Suprising more people aren't using Brookdale GM. They've obviously got superior oil products.

What else do you suppose he miscalculated while working on your car? 1500 ft/lbs of torque on the oil filter?

Heh, that's pretty good! Don't let the hardcore Amsoil junkies/dealers who are always bragging about their 30,000 mile oil change crap see this, they're bound to get mad that a competing oil lasts longer... lol!Just think, by the time your next oil change is due you'll have to have them put in a new gauge cluster too, since yours will have stopped functioning!

I have been getting synthetic oil changes for the past 3 years for no extra charge. They normally cost $20 more than a dino oil change from the dealer. This unfortunately is my last one. I'll be doing them myself from now on.

Where can I get that kind of oil?

I'm sure there is a Pontiac "Stealership" on the moon to change your oil, but they would charge you 30x the normal charge for an oil change. I might pay it if they had little green men changing my oil.

We received your request for the latest in high mileage oil and are pleased to announce that while this fluid is not currently available to the consumer yet, we can offer it you direct. The cost for 1 gallon of the X-OLG10 will only be supplied for a bank check sent to us directly in the exact amount of $50,000.01. Please see the address below for payment and we will gladly ship your order. As you know this fluid is what keeps our booster rockets from failing during the launch sequence into space of the Orbiter Shuttle. So we will ask that you return the bottle once you are done for recycling purposes per the US Government laws.
