WOOHOO no more squeal!

I told people a little while back about my squealing issue from the FR that would come and go. I thought it was the brakes and they needed replacement anyways. Well it still made the noise. I went to Toyota yesterday, love my service department, open till 1130pm if I need em. The guy at first was kinda a jerk as I was explaining the issue, he was gonna charge me the full $75 or $89 diagnostic thing. I was like that's fine, just figure it out for me.Well after an hour (they were very busy), he lightened up and we were talkin a bit, really a nice guy, just tired of dealing with morons all day which I can relate too. He calls me up, they put a new C-clip and shim in the wear indicator. Total cost was $18! He was like, I only charged you for the 20 minutes of the techs time. So I picked up an oil filter too and left a happy man!

Now if more Dearships did this once in a while theye would probably have a better reputation and even increased customer loyalty.

Glad things worked out. Car dealerships can be difficult to deal with, especially with all the weird people they have to please.

My local Dodge dealer charged me $920 to replace a water pump on my '00 Durango. They (Brentwood Dodge) are no longer here... just kinda disappeared in the middle of the night. The city didn't even know they were leaving. Chances are they set up shop to steal from people somewhere else. If you find a dealer that does you right... SUPPORT THEM.
