So this past weekend i took some time about 2.5 days to rip everything out of my car and lay down some sound deadener. Whilst i had all the pieces out of my car I decided to Rhino line my trunk area so that it kinda held the line underneath all the windows of the darker grey and i didn't have to worry about all the mats and what not here's the final project:

Almost looks like it came that way from the factory. Was it a spray-on or brush-on product? What Sound Deadener did you use? Did you do the whole interior? (floor, doors, sides and headliner) Do you notice much of a difference in sound now? Nice work!

the liner was the roll on that can be bought at Advance Auto Parts...i applied 3 coats of it. and for the sound deadener, i bought Fatmat off of ebay and i've only done the floor and trunk sides soo far. this weekend i'm thinking about doing the doors. First I want my dealership to fix my windows on the recall thingy. Just from what i've done i've noticed that i can take my volume control down about 10-12 levels... oh yes and for those of you who have noticed there is a dent in my bumper that i'm supposed to be turning in to get fixed tomorrow at about 1:00

Looks good. Out of curiousity, what made you leave the edging of the seat backs the original color? Watch out for chipping occuring at that edge.

that looks awesome..i was thinking of doing that with Line-X..mainly to stop stuff from rolling around and what not..welcome home btwis the rhino liner like rubberized stuff? or what kinda material is it and how difficult was it..just a simple roll on let dry type of stuff? im seriously interested in doing something similar

I see a dent in your bumper.... Yeah I saw your post that says your getting it fixed...I'm on the fence here... I like it b/c it's different and I think you did a pretty good job, but not sure if I would want to do it myself.

I went to AAP to buy the supplies to put it on. The hardest part of the whole thing was taking the plastic pieces out of the car, lol. To clean it I used the Engine Brite Engine Cleaner Gel, followed up with a spray down of "Total Prep Automotive Cleaner" and then i scrub it with the scratch pad provided in the kit. I used the Duplicolor Truck Bed Coating and applied it with the roller provided. The reason i left the edge lighter was i was trying to protect the seats from splatter and i couldn't get the plastic piece off the seats. All in all it was a very easy project. If anyone is thinking about doing it make sure you clean all the plastic really really well and then i would probably use sand paper if i have to do it again to scuff up the plastic and make it stick better.
