Happy Canada Day! Got my beer and burgers all ready for tomorrow. Unfortunately I am without a BBQ (the snow destroyed my BBQ, new one is on order but not in yet) so I will have to use my electric grill.

Nice pics! You know I've lived here since '99 and never once been to "the Hill" on Canada Day. Saw the snow birds and the CF 18s fly over around lunch time today though. The 18s scared the cat into going back inside.

You should go next year --- I try to go every year just for the crowds and being on the hill. There's no better place to be on Canada Day than in the swarm of red and white

I was actually surprised we got in the front row since other years the crowd is so thick you can only see the tops of the Mounties heads

Next year go and sit on the lawn at the Museum of Civilization, they're right in front of you. I think it's the best spot to see the fireworks

it is not required to be sunny in order to get drunk and not work the next day! besides, it'll end up being another 2 day event.
