George Carlin dies in L.A., aged 71

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/200...in_dci just found out a little bit ago about him dieing. back in high school i used to listen to his stuff all the time, but he changed, and do did i. i still respect his work and found him funny so this saddens me to see this news. anybody else listen to him or seen him live? i would have loved to see that back in high school.right now i'm listening to his most famous 7 words skit.

We listened to his records a lot along with Cheech and Chong and Monty Python. He did some funny stuff. If he was 71, I must be getting old too.

His faces and body language were nearly as funny as his material. I thought he got more political as he got older - but maybe I just didn't notice it when I was younger.

I just watched his show on HBO the other day!Ya know he got arrested in Milwaukee for doing that show. The charges were laterr dropped. He sorta started the whole censorship battle.Always liked his work.
