I've decided to bag the idea of buying the TRD engine cover and go ahead and paint it. But I have a couple of questions. 1. I was going to go with a red hi-temp paint for the main color. Do I have to do any prep work besides washing the cover?2. I wanted to make the letters stand out. Any suggestions? Paint? Stickers? 3. And if I did use stickers, would I need to put a clear coat over them to seal them on?4. Also, did anyone paint the plastic plugs on the back of the cover or just leave them black? Thanks in advance for the suggestions. I plan to do this soon. And YES, I will have some pics up when I'm done!

When I took off the cover to see what I was dealing with, the left screw came out just fine but the right one I had problems with. I came out, finally, but was about 3 in long. That's ok, right?
