Clinton Township. The Michigan crowd died a while ago. We used to have fun meets all the time back a few years ago but they all fell off the face of the planet and no one else has been active around here. It's kind of disappointing.AJ and I always go to shows and stuff together.

I think there might have been a few people over in Grand Rapids a while back but they all disappeared just like the other MI members.

It seems all the Detroit area Genvibers are over on the north side...I'm in the west. Plenty of Vibes out and about this summer, but almost all of them have some middle age mom or the grandparents in them who probably don't even know the name of their car.I stopped waving at other Vibes halfway thru the summer after getting ignored for a couple months

I live in Lake Orion & work in Downtown Detroit. A guy parked his red Vibe behind my blue Vibe in the Costco parking lot a couple weeks ago. I smiled & said to him, “Nice car.” He didn’t appear to get the car connection, but smiled back & said hello, anyway.

(removed)...those are my favorite kind of people...even if you both had Ferrari Enzos FXX's they still wouldn't be able to make the connection...

Someone in an 03/04 Neptune GT stopped by at Providence Park yesterday. Genvibe sticker too.I was lurking in the back rows of the lot. They banish construction types away from the doors.

I was at Providence Park last week preparing for the Grand Opening but I have a silver AWD. Didn't see many other Vibes there.

The Michigan crew died off so we haven't even thought about it in a long time. I would definitely go to one though if one was set up.

So would I. But they are hard to set up for the simple fact that there very few people interested.

fenton Michigan here, Sorry to here not many meets anywhere. I bought my vibe four months ago, I work for gm so I buy gm. With gas going crazy I had to do somthing and narrowed it down to the vibe. Since then have grown to really like the looks of the car. It's still not the most comfortable ride, but it is what it is. Doing the right mods it can be an attractive little car. I wish there was some car meets.

The biggest meet in the country used to be held at Joseph Pontiac IN Fenton every year with atleast 40-50 Vibe turnout...that has long since gone into the history books. I would like to assemble a meet though here with all of the new Michigan members. Seems there are more than I thought If everyone could make it, we could get a descent crew together.

I probably have to work that day, or I have some family get together I will have to go to. Or maybe gas prices will get too high for me to go...

Anyone wanna meet at Sherwood Brewing Company in Shelby Twp on Hayes off Hall/M-59 sometime? Or perhaps Kuhnenn Bros. Brewery (the old Lutz Hardware) in Warren on Chicago off Mound? By the way, I’ve been looking around lately at passing Vibes & trying to make eye contact to wave. If you see a short fat broad in a stock blue/gray 04 Vibe with a propeller hitch cover, that’s me – wave back.

I have not seen a two-tone Vibe with a propeller hitch cover, that is for sure.

What’s good for folks, time & day-wise? I’m busy this week Thursday through next Monday. Also, I can’t up there until around 7 pm (I work in downtown Detroit), but I can catch the tail-end of things.
