Let's stop the idiocy, "oh the horror"!! Can people get real and stop bashing each other over a badge!! Kudos to those who stay above the fray. Hillary and Obama had nothing on this. I went over to one of the Matrix sites and had to laugh.

What they're not the same? I just thought the vibe was the prettier version of the trix... I actually like them equally... Sure they have their differences, but I swear if you sat in either one they would feel EXACTLY the same.Only reason why I like the Trix more is there is more A.M. stuff available for them (body kit, tail lights, head lights, grills, ect...)

I find them both awesome, the only difference is looks and yeah it seems yota offered more appearance things, like the trd grill and shift knobs. BUT some/most trd parts can fit the vibe I just recommended a vibe/trix to a coworker as she just totalled her van. she test drove a trix and LOVED it. the vibe is cheaper though so she will be looking at one tonight!! im excited for her

Who is bashing??? Where? When? I love my Honda Vibe! I joined the MO site, hung around for awhile but that site is not like this and have not been back since. Gave it the old college try!

i see no hate...it's just a matter of which one looks better to you...i personally like the vibe better (old and new) than the matrix. just looks better =/ they are both great cars and pretty much the same lol people are just more loyal to toyota since they're "more reliable" than other brands.i like toyota cuz they have that soft beep when you lock and unlock the doors. the vibe doesn't make any sound...well at least the one i tested (2009 vibe gt)...i think from the inside you can't really tell the difference lol

Except for the fact that the cars are almost entirely the same, they're completely different!

I took his comment "I went over to one of the Matrix sites and had to laugh" to mean that the "Oh the horror" quote was something somebody said on that other site. Genvibe seems to be a lot more tolerant of other vehicles than many car forums. Obviously most of us here preferred the Vibe, that's what we bought, so most of us think the VIbe was better, but for many of us it was a close call. There are a number of great Matrix owners here, and I think we do pretty good here to jump all over anyone who tries to put down the Matrix

Is there more than one Matrix site? I'll admit I'm on MO alot more than here but that just stands to reason I own a Matrix. I don't see every post, but I don't recall any serious hating. but there are ignorant people regardless of race, creed, color, or type of car they drive. I have yet to go to a Matrix owners meet but have been to 2 Vibe meets and I know there were 3 Vibes at the Hard Core Matrix Owners Meet. Alot of people who have moved on to different cars still hang out at both sites. I won't apologize for anyone elses behavior. I know, that those that have been around for a while know that this is the exception and not the rule

there have been a couple threads over there on MO bashing the vibe, one i remember was started by some girl. Man that thread got super ugly REAL quick. I understand peoples opinions about looks but that thread took it to a even higher level

I remember hearing about the thread, It got deleted, before I saw it. I didn't know the content, I do know who the alledged "girl" was. I always thought the person was just there trying to stir $__t always questioned if they even owned a Matrix.

Why can,t we all just get along? When on vacation in AZ. I rented a car and had no idea what brand it would be. It turned out to be 08 Vibe and we where thrilled cause we like our 06 Matrix so much.It was just like driving our car and getting great gas mileage also.I had to reset the Seat Belt Beep and a couple of other things, don't tell on me.

I was wondering if something was going on here but realized they were talking about a thread on MO. We don't allow bashing to occur and will attempt to curb the behavior as quickly as possible.
