I just downloaded it... but...The file it downloaded says its "Firefox Setup 2.0.0.14" and that's the version that I'm currently running, and have been for a while. Is there something I'm missing here?? EDIT The way I had done this was going onto the Mozilla website and Clicked the banner for Firefox 3.0 and it still downloaded the Version 2. But now I have clicked the link above and it downloaded ver 3.0. It is not working with ver3.0! Looks sweet!PS I didn't have any problems with my bookmarks here...

You have to re-import bookmarks for some reason.

Hmm, tried to mount the disk image on the Mac and got "no mountable file systems.."Suck! redownload again... Must be user error, it's working on Kari's iMac. edit N/M, it was still downloading in the background on Opera, I was expecting it to already be here! But nooo... I see I'm getting a whopping 10k/sec transfer rate. Yeah, they're gettin' hammered, something somewhere in a data center will be on fire before this is all said and done. and edit again... I haven't tried the Mac version yet but I had to downgrade back to 2 for my work stuff where I have to use Windows (using Portable Firefox.) Looks like they haven't kept up with the addon's/themes/etc. for 3. The themes especially bugged me, I can't find any that look decent for 3 and the default theme is horrid just like the prior versions. Bummer! Opera FTW!

I downloaded the new one yesterday and don't like it. I want to go back to the old one. There is just a few little things about the address bar that drive me crazy.

I downloaded it today at work and love it! If your bookmarks disappear click on the "Bookmarks Menu" in the left column. That's where mine went.

I d'loaded and installed this morning - very fast installation, seamless, didn't lose anything, no stupid restarting the system, didn't close any other programs when I installed it either. And it is definitely faster all the way around!

I did my best to help with the record. I downloaded a copy on my desktop computer, my wife's laptop, and my work desktop. All my favorites came across as well as the url's in the tabs bar. It definitely seems faster and I like it alot.MIke
