Finally I received my new Vibe 2009. So far I'm very please with my purchase. The only down side is the big blind spot behind the 2nd seat row, but I can leave with it.Here's some pics:I'll get windows tainted this week, I'll post pictures as soon as it's done!

nice i like the white a lot =D you will probably get use to the big blind spot as time passes. you just need to adjust the mirrors right and blind spot won't be that bad

You should try some little blind spot mirrors.....I drove service vans (with total right side blind spots) for many years and now install the BS mirrors on everything I buy.

I have the exact same car (minus the roof racks) and you do get used to the blind spots! Its worth it. It looks best in white, although i woulda took orange or yellow if they had it.

And now I got my windows tainted, so I will take some pics and I will show you. It's really better than stock!I really appreciate the ride so far, it's smooth but also firm when needed, the shifter is so sweet, and don't seems to take a lot of gas (only 300 km yet and half of the tank full)I wanted a 2008 but my dealer was out of stock. Before byuing mine I prefered the old style, but now I got mine, I really prefer the 2009. I've never drove and older model, but the 2009 is just perfect for me, enough power, comfortable, seems to be good on gas, roomy, perfect, beautiful! I'm really happy with my new purchase!

I hate that we have to have front licence plates where i live, they look soooo much better without the front plate.

those look seriously good in white. Personally i love the tail lights. They are interesting, well shaped and well detailed. I like the touches of chrome and the chromed circles with the flat tops. Gives the little details an element of aggression. Makes the new vibe look less like a chick car than the last one.BTW... for those of you with 1.8L vibes please post what mpg you are getting either here or on the thread where i ask about it. I was asking about manuals but apparently not many people have manuals cause only one person has responded with mileagethanks

Thank you for the good comments! For my mileage, I just have 1500 km on it (1000 miles) so I just filled it 3 times (in fact 2 times since it was full when I received it).On my first tank I got 27 mpg 100% city driving. Second tank was 75% city, 25% road and I got 29.4 mpg. My last tank was 100% road driving, and I got 38.4 mpg. But for this one I'm not quite sure of the numbers, since when I was filling it a power outage occur, so maybe the numbers are not accurate. But worst case scenario it would be 35 mpg, that's very good! Still on break-in, and original oil (will probably switch to synthetic). Most of the time was without the A/C, and with manual tranny. So far, no problem, I really like it!Here's a new pics with tinted windows (50% front, 20% rear)

excellent gas mileage. Are you just going off the trip computer then rather than calculating it yourself. I usually just calculate myself by always filling the tank to the top and tracking how many miles between fill ups. More reliable than the computer. Keep those mileage updates coming please!! I will be purchasing something in the next month and it is between the xD, xB, Vibe, or waiting on the new Fit.

Mine is manual (I bought it for fuel economy, so I choose everything that could help me to have better mileage).I calculate my mpg like you do (and like everyone should do). I must say I drive my Vibe very gently (no hard acceleration, remove my feet from the pedal when I see a red light, etc.) because I really want good gas mileage.I'll post my mpg in the thread soon.

Congratulations SagWhite. The white looks great. My previous car was white, it was a Bonneville. When I recently purchased my 2009 Vibe I was looking for a change and I went with the carbon gray. Did you get the 1.8 or the 2.4 liter engine? From what you're reporting for mileage I am assuming you have the 1.8. Regarding the blind spot. I don't think what SagWhite is referring to can be helped with mirrors. But if it can I'd like an explanation of how. By using the rear and side mirrors there aren't any blind spots in the rear of the car for me. The first day I got my 09 Vibe I had my nephew stand behind it and I directed him forward and back and side to side and I was able to see him in one of the mirrors no matter where he stood. The problem SagWhite referred to is when you are making a turn and you look out the passenger side window for traffic. The divider between the front seat window and rear seat window blocks the view. I think the problem may be worse for people like me who sit with the seat all the way back. If this can be fixed with a mirror I'd like to know where to put it.
