What a bunch of suckers. Not only is Andrew Carlssin's story, the whole story about "Andrew Carlssin" is false:

I was just pondering time travel the other day, now that you mention it. I wondered what I would do if I could travel through time. I am a bit strange, I think I'd like to go back in time instead of foreward. I'd love to witness first hand some of the great moments in history and meet some great historical figures. The thing I was pondering was this. I thought I could take a bunch of money back in time with me and put it in the bank or invest it. Then go back to the present and it would have grown into a nice sum. Then I could go back and do it again and again and have more and more money. Then I realized that I might run into myself if I kept going back to the same day. And how could I explain to the tellers where I keep getting all the money from? What if I messed up the dates or something and appeared twice in the same day at the bank? Or worse, two of me standing in line in the bank with pockets full of cash? What a headache to have to figure this all out.

Or what happens when you bring back money that was printed this year back to 20 years ago? Or what happens if yourself in the past sees a sudden increase in his account. Wouldn't he be tempted to blow it on a BetaMax VCR?

LOL. 20 years ago, I was only 5 years old. I wouldn't have been hanging around checking out my bank accounts back then. So that is safe. I thought about the problem with the new bills, too. I figured that if I round up enough cash, particularly with the smaller denominations, I should be able to come up with some older bills. Also, if I traveled back in time, I could withdraw some from my accounts in the older bills (that were new at the time) and physically carry them with me to a slightly later time. I would have to deposit money in "layers" of time for this all to work. It is because of people like me with stupid time travel plans that if time travel were possible, they won't tell us about it.

Oh, I also forgot. After I made enough money with my time traveling scheme, I would go back in time (years further) and buy a few of the cars that are incredibly rare today. You know, things that cost like $2,000 at the time but are worth millions today? I would buy them brand new and bring them back to now and they would be in mint condition. And I'd have to stop back around 1969 to a Chevy dealer to order a brand new 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS6 convertible with the Hurst 4 on the floor and bring that back too because that is my musclecar dream car. They are also very hard to come by. About 2 years ago, someone had one listed here for sale around the Pittsburgh area. He claimed it was all original and had matching numbers and everything. He wanted about $72,000 for it. I think they were under $5000 new, so the time travel thing would save me a lot of money.I am a coin collector, too. So I'd have to go back and try to get some really old coins to bring back somehow. Maybe I could rob a stagecoach and hurry up and jump back into my time machine to make off with the coins. Trying to trade for them at a bank probably wouldn't go over so well for newer ones, like the problem with the bills I discussed above.---And NO, I have never smoked crack. Kinda scary, huh?---
