Per 4x4 chichi:Oh, I'm running on 235/45 ZR17's. They really fill the wheel wells. So I know the 235/45's will work...The 225's sidewall will be shorter than the 235's, and the 235's will be a wider tire. Here's a link to the tire calculator.

Been running the General Exclaim UHP 235/45/17 for almost a year now and no problems at all. Got pics somewhere on the site... just search for general tire and you'll find the thread w/ pics.

Are you after performance or looks?? There will be next to zero performance gain as the tire will begin to "crown" on that wide of a rim...

Well, if you are after proper performance, you'd be better off keeping a 215/45-17 on them... You'll get a decent ride and keep the performance.. with the 45 series. I'm running that size on my Subaru and it's performance potential is 2-3 times that of the Vibe..
