you could get those HID's but you will have to do some stuff in order for them to work and not blow them out in a year..mainly the daytime running lights mod..where you gotta snip the one wire and ground it..or install a switch as some have done in the past with the mod...the 2nd ones on ebay..i wouldnt trust..and really those im sure arent that great..specially not of quality to HID'shere's a store i recommenend..some have heard of them from here...a few of my buddies have these kits installed in their cars and work and look great..the KWD's are a great set..and even the Hi/Lo kit is abit cheaper then the link you provided..just a thought for youhttp://www.thexenonstore.com/HID.php

Thanks...Does 6000k have a noticeable blue to it?

by WaveAction
hmm not really...6k is pretty much a clear white..the higher up you go..it turns into a blue..then later a purple...so the 8000-10000 is a bit of blue then dark blue..12000 is a purpleyou can see the colors below

This is where I bought mine for $150 shipped (had to pay extra to ship to AK). Great products and prices. There are a lot of Subie guys who have bought from them, however they sell any kind of kit.http://xenonexpert.com/Also, I did a lot of research to find out what looks the best on wet blacktop. Because of snow and rain, I wouldn't suggest anything over 6000K or it will be very difficult to see. I chose 5000K and it was just about perfect, could have gone 4500K and that would most likely been just right.

Do any mods need to be done in order for this to work?!? Adjusting beam? Also i have a factory fogs on mine.....What would be the best lighting bulb to use, with hids?!?

personally i'd go with a 5000-6000k for the headlights..and do the same for the fogs..but i like the look of the 3000k for the fogs, which are yellow

I have 6000K in my heads and they seem to be perfect for all road conditions. As far as the fogs. You can use a standard bulb, a Sylvania Silverstar, or go with HID. I plan on going HID and using a 3000K like Waveaction suggested. As far as any modifications. Headlight adjustment should not be needed. But you should disconnect your DRL and Auto Headlights. First reason. It will help you bulb last longer. If you leave the DRL active, you may get a little flickering in the bulb. That is the second reason.High intensity discharge lamps do not work properly on a minimal voltage.

Getting a color temp is all up to you. The 6K is as close to white as you can get. Alot of people get the 3K due to the fact that yellow breaks up the fog the best. But for the fogs it is a 9006 and for the heads it is a 9003 or a H4.

Here is my 6k kit from Ebay, paid $70 bucks for it, and they have been working flawlessly for a few months now, not one issue.Just remember as I tell all people, my car is a Trix so its a dual lamp system so it is a cheaper kit.
