When I wash my Vibe and I point the hose so the water hits the hatch going up, water gets in all over the cargo area and hatch window . With the rear opened, I can see a gap between the window and the moulding, but there's weather stripping there that should be keeping the water out. When I just run the hose from the top like it's raining, none gets in. This can't be right, can it?

I've never had a water issue there. The stripping may be loose or you may want to get some sealant and get up in there.

The car is exactly one wek old today, gues I'll be going back to the dealer.
