I'm looking at a Vibe 1.8L automatic somewhere between a 2006 & 2008. Any known issues with any of these models?

Yeah, They are very addictive and you won't be able to stop yourself from modding the car. Good luck. :-)

Major issue is that they seem to be expensive to buy. All things considered you might be better off buying new. The 2009's have some major safety features standard - 4 wheel disk antiliock brakes; traction and stability control; multiple airbags. MSRP actually a few hundred less than the 2008's without those features. But no rebates on the 2009's YET.

True more features on 09, but the AC is not standard as it was on the 08.

I bought the 09 red hot metallic vibe base, with 1.8L engine, 5 speed manual, power package which has the power windows, power locks, power mirrors, and cruise control, and I got air conditioning and the smokers package was already in the car. Sticker price was $18,535 and the dealer gave me $1,200 off so I got it for $17,335.
