The reverse lights are there, they just sort of disappear in the silver. But yeah, I took everything apart, and then glued it back together.

smart thing to do..wish i did that instead of taping the crap out of it..the tape peeled some of the paint off..so i may re-do it or just say f-it..it's just a model so i dont really care..also what kinda paint did you use..and did u sand it? i was lazy with the whole thing..didnt sand it and just used the paint i got from doing my engine cover..plastic high-temp paint that was custom made for it..

I went to a model shop and picked up some metallic silver model paint. I sanded the model before I painted it just to give the new paint a better surface to grab on to. Then I gave it a few coats of clear when all was said and done. There are a few areas that could have came out better, but like you said, it is just a model.

Are these like Hot-Wheels size die-casts, or a lil bigger? I see on that Yat Ming site it says they are 1:24, not quite sure on how big they would be.

Quote, originally posted by WaveAction »no they only came in the yellow or the salsa..no other colorsThe 1:24 GT scale models came in several colors, and the 1:18 scale GT-R came in yellow and salsa. Which begs the question, was there ever a full scale yellow GT-R?

no i dont think there was a yellow GT-R..only the salsa color..and when i ment the "yellow or salsa..no other colors" comment was about the GT-R that i can get..
