On the .08 you could get "Side air bags" for $725.The '09 has as standard equipment "Airbags, front, side, thorax & pelvic, w/ passenger sensing; frt head curtain side airbag."Am I correct that the '09 has a lot more air bag protection than just the "side air bags" that were available on the '08"s", or did the "Side Airbags" optiion on the 08's include all of that?

I think it's pretty much the same setup as what was optional previously, they had head curtain and seat mounted side air bags optional there from '05-'08. '03-'04 did not have the curtains, just the air bags in the seat.
