Hi all,Warning: Super hot Subaru content to follow.... Well, I finally got my new (to me) wheels repaired and painted... First a little background, I don't buy aftermarket wheels, this is my 3rd set in my 34yrs on this planet, one of the 3 sets never made onto the vehical... These are a very rare set of Volk Racing TE37's straight from Japan (JDM yo) The guy I got them from is US millitary stationed in Japan and has been selling JDM parts for a long time, his Email was "Parts Slinger @xxxxxxxx, just to give ya'll an idea... I mention that because in all of his time, he has only seen 3 sets of this color EVER... (the base color) Well, when I got them they were all curbed to some extent, and all of them were in need of some TLC.... It took me about a month total, of a little here-n-there to get them back to the point that they are at now... So, without further adue.... And to give you all an idea of where I started with these.... 1.2.3.4. the worst one... Enjoy, I know I will, and I shaved a full 6lbs PER CORNER with these...!!!! Woot....

Allow me to be the first to say... meh.I mean the wheels look nice, but it's still a Subaru. Just yankin' your chain mate, they look good!

Duplicolor Graphite is correct.In case anyone is interested, it's a perfect match for the DC Sports Strut Bar. The mounting points were rusting from all the salt on the roads last winter so I gave it a try. You can't even tell where the new paint ends and the old paint starts.

Those wheels are freakin awesome!

Those look great. The touch of red really makes them pop.

I'm sorry, Aaron, but it's just too much blue for me.... i've never been a huge fan of the whole paint my wheels the same color as the car thing, so my opinion is completely tainted. however, I do like the Rays, just not a fan of the whole all one color thing. *shrug*

i think hope's just saying that because she's jealous i like em, and i agree with jwalick about the red

Thanks everyone... !!Hope, I know what you are saying, and I agree to a point, it's a LOT of blue.... Alas I just couldn't bring myself to cover that color. It's a VERY rare blue, Volk put out in the early/mid 90's and the guy I got'em from said that in all of his time selling JDM parts, he's only ever seen 3 SETS of them...... ever... So I had to keep it...I'm really surprised that it matched my Infinity G20 blue the car was sprayed in though... it's a REALLY close match, the wheels are slightly lighter in shade..

Next Sat., May 10th is the xceedspeed spring bbq at Lake Erie Metropark. It starts at 11am. Tons of cars. Just fyi.

I like the wheels, I like the color, the red stripe sure seems to be in.. it does look good... I'm not a huge fan of color matched wheels on cars that have color (white, black, and silver seem to be the exception)I think what would make it for me... is if you still had the Rays's/Volk logos still on the spokes... I really like how it says that on the wheels.

I was concened about the whole "to much blue" but I couldn't completely deface them, they are actually quite rare from what i'm understanding... I'm hoping to find out about that soon to...
