FYI - for what it's worth. Columbus, OH paper 4-26-081. 2009 Vibe 2.4L 21/29 mpg MSRP $19,365; $17,990[has arrow pointing to rear with copy "Liftback with lift glass" so maybe the price is wrong too!]2. 2009 Vibe gets up to 33mpg $16,995 - includes all rebates and owner loyalty to dealer. Interesting only for reference to "Owner loyalty". I have see $1,000 and $1,500 owner loyalty rebates mentioned in several Chevy ads. Maybe there is some GM promo going on that is not being widely made known.

Edmunds.com doesn't show any 09 rebates yet. I did see in the local paper this morning an ad for 08 Vibes with 3500 in rebates.

Heh, well the glass does lift along with the hatch, it just doesn't separate. You never can trust what those bozos put in their sale ads... They either lie or get something flat out wrong...

I assume this means if you have bought vehicles from this dealer before. Unfortunately, there is no loyalty incentive from GM - only on the 2008 models. GM needs to get with the program. Toyota is offering 0% financing for 36 months on the 09 Matrix. Stuff like that will keep them in 2nd for overall sales!

I don't think this meant a discount for "loyalty to the dealer".The various Chevy ads today refer to "Owner Loyalty"; and "GM Loyalty or Conquest".$1,000 on Aveo, HHR,Malibu, Equinox, Colorado$1,500 on Cobalt, Impala, Malibu$2,000 on SilveradoA Saturn ad has prices with an *, the footnote reads "*with GM Supplier Discount and Loyalty or Conquest."I think it is misleading to advertise a price that requires a "GM Supplier Discount". As someone once said "Truth in advertising? But then it wouldn't be advertising."

The conquest ($500) is apparently available (If you happen to own a non-GM vehicle). But us loyal Vibers looking to buy an 09 are out of luck for the time being....

You are right - '09 Vibes probably still in short supply Got this e-mail today from dealer. The rebate and bonus cash probably about equals the '09 price reduction and added safety features. A similarly safety featured equipped '08 with these rebates probably nets to the same $$$ as an '09. To those who can, be patient - note that the once mighty and rare Solstice is now included in these incentives.Only three days left, get ADDITIONAL BONUS CASH* above and beyond current incentives on Pontiac 2007 and 2008 models including the G5, G6, Grand Prix, Vibe, and Solstice! But hurry -- this offer ends on Wednesday, April 30th!Yes - offer ends April 30th. I'm betting in early May, or soon thereafter, we will see even bigger incentives!

Looks as if GM has extended the same offers they were already running through May 21. I think they increased the rebate on the 08 to $1500.... but still nothing on the 2009s.

I see the $1,250 rebates and $1,000 bonus cash on pontiac.com, but the loyalty rebate does not seem to be widely publicized or advertised. Saw it in one dealer ad a week ago. I wonder if the dealer only gets these to use at its discretion - the number possibly being handed out based on meeting quota etc.

Toyota has extended the 0.0% for 36 months on the 09 Matrix through June 2..... Too bad GMAC is in such bad shape, would be nice if this offer was on the Vibe!

Wait a short while - GM will begin dealing when the '08s clear. The Pontiac vehicle finder says there are 25 new '08s and 25 new '09's in my trading area. When that ratio gets to 45/5, unless '09 sales are really brisk we will see '09 incentives and financing deals.

Since you can not find hardly any - then . . . . Oh well - I know what I mean. You can hardly find any '08's in the Rochester, NY area. Anyway. there seem to be a quite a few '08's left in these parts.

You can get $1,000 over your GM Card bonus on ANY GM vehicle purchase (except Hybrids) right now. I just got my mailer on that. Vibe and G8 were both included.

Sometimes those mailings go out to "select" individuals. I almost hope I don't get one as it might be too tempting - especially if the loyalty rebate and bonus cash are still valid on the '08's.1,250 rebate+ 1,000 bonus cash + 1000 loyaly + 1,300 GM Card + 1,000 GM Card bonus + expected $750 dealer discount = 6,300 off MSRP.

The fine print - 2.99 gasThis program is an alternative to traditional incentive programs. Consumers who select this offer will not be eligible for the traditional consumer/lease cash, subvented APR rates, or Compass/Patriot retail cash.
