Hey everyone i'm planning on buying an exhaust and possibly a header for my 2003 Vibe base model. Problem is, I don't really know what would be the most beneficial. Toyota made an oops performance wise with the vibe. The headers are located behind the engine instead of in front of it. I don't think i want a 3" because of the amount of pipe i will have to work with. Bottomline is.....i'm clueless! Can anyone help me? I'm looking to buy a catback w/header.Thanks!

header - either a aftermarket header or a stock one thats ported from Boosted2.0 over on newcelica.org. I'm actually selling a stock header Exhaust - I recommend the magnaflow cat back, otherwise the TRD is really a borla and also sounds good

Yeah i've heard about newcelica, my friend is a member there. I was looking at getting a Borla exhaust i think i'm pretty much set on that. My conflict is the header.

For headers look at DC sports and JP performance.Search under Matrix.

I am getting a 2.4L GT soon, just wondering if stock vibe mufflers have been bolt ons or welded as I am going to be leasing and under those rules. I really want a clean but not obnoxious sound and do not want to break the lease rules. Any ideas?

i believe the stock mufflers are welded, but i'm not sure, because i havent put an exhaust on my car. The vibe sounds aggressive as it is.
