yesterday my brother told me to swing by his house ,he had somethine for me. i get over there and he hands me a brand new wii with extra remote. he just gave it to me. turns out that he had ordered one a while bak, then bout two weeks later he checked his order status and it said canceled. so he ound one at the local walmart and picked it up. bout a week later checked his bank account and it was short. turns out the order wasn't canceled. wii #2 was on the way. so then he tried to decide should he flip it and make a few extra or just give it to me. he didn't feel like flipping it so he gave it to me. THANK GOD HE IS LAZY!!! lolfor anyone that hasn't played wii yet, find someone that has one it is a blast. my wife who hate video games had a blast last night when we played from 11:30pm till 1:10am

Smash bros! One of the must haves for the system. The virtual console is a gold mine for nintendo. They've embraced the fact that they were on top in the 80's and are making all the money they can off it. Even a lot of thier new games pays homage to the original NES.

I kinda fell out of favor with video games in the mid 90s when things went 3D. I got massive headaches playing them so I stopped altogether. Saved me money in the long run because I didn't have to upgrade my computer every 6 months. In anycase, with the wii, a friend bought one awhile back and when I visited his kids were playing some kind of cooking game and other imaginative games and I was awestruck that there was non violent programming out there, and the fact that it's interactive with the motion sensing controllers made it very entertaining for themI have to say I'm quite impressed with the programs that are out there for kids and anything to get them off their butts is a good thing now a days.I'll probably never buy a game console, at least not for myself. The last one I owned was an Atari 2600!

Wii's are still tough to find up here. Occassionally when someone wants one and best Buy has them in, I go pick them up one and they pay me back later. I think I've bought 6 now?

None around here either. Zeller's was advertising them in last weeks flyer, with a guaranteed 10 at each store. That's the most I've seen in one location at a time in the city.

what really doesn't make sense to me is that another wii remote is $40 but if you buy the wii play its 9 little games and a wii remote for $50. you can trade the game into gamestop for like $15-$20

Nintendo hit on a real winner with the Wii. My wife has about every platform imaginable form PC gaming to about 6 different consoles. The Wii is the only one I will play, sometimes for hours on end.
