Nice -- the black really makes it stand out. Hoping to paint my grille in the next couple monthsDid you also paint the chrome accent with the same paint?

I scratched mine and have to do some touchups.Quote, originally posted by asburydan »I am planning to paint my grill black also. Did you get any advice as to the best can of spray paint to use? Thanks.I used Krylon for plastic and seems to be great.

you have a pic of how it looked? also did you do gloss black or flat black? kinda looks like gloss

No, I don't have a pic. I looked at it in my garage and didn't waste time taking pictures. I went with a glossy finish, which I would recommend unless your car has a flat finish already.

They are flat grey, but I think it looks tons better in gloss.

i'll have to decide sometime..how hard was it to take the grill out??
Posted: Sun Apr 20, 2008 2:35 am

It wasn't hard at all. There are two screws with rubber stops on top, then three other screw type thingys before you can take pop the clips out. I was surprised to see how big it actually was. It is significantly larger than what it looks like.
