The cousin to the Aura, or vice versa, the Insignia is going to be a fantastic looking car when it come to the states. I can't see why it wouldn't win COTY again with this design. Honda and Toyota really need to get working on their designs. Now give this thing a redline version with the power from the G8 and I would totally be in the market.

Being front drive, this car wouldn't get the G8s V8. I suppose they could make a Red Line version with the 5.3L V8 from the Impala SS, but I think a DI V6 would be a more likely candidate. Not a bad looking car, regardless.

Not necessarily, the current lineup of Saturns that are used vice versa with the opels are identical twins pretty much. The VUE, current Aura, SKY, and Astra look identical to their European counterparts. GM did a smart thing just bringing over the cars as is with the US specs added for lamps and safety.

I'll wait for the Buick Regal version. It will hit China first.
