It will be expensive. DSG may be fun when it's new. Best of both world. But in the real world, most likely be used as a regular auto trans.Or would you think it's better to mod a Rabbit with 6 spd auto.

eeeehhhhhh it takes the FUN out of shifting with a clutch, but the paddle shift or tap shifting will be quicker. so its more of a buyers choice, maybe the older person sick of shifting with a clutch will take it because they still want times of spirited driving, or it will have fast shifts at the 1/4 mile. But for REAL enthusiasts, a car without a clutch isnt real shifting fun.

I want to some day (maybe when I'm retired) have a drag race car with a DSG. wouldn't want one on a daily driver however.

I would gladly take a true DSG box as a DD.

In fact, i'd love to have one in the new STI.

A sequential transmission for daily driving and racing would be awesome. I wouldn't mind trying out the DSG. Not sure if it would be as much fun as a normal manual.

Subaru announced about a month ago they will be adding their answer to Mitsu's DSG box, but if USDM gets it is up in the air. if so.... it'll be tranny swap time! Since owning my LGT, i've grown to absolutely LOVE my auto and manual sport shift, just want a real sport shift, dual clutch system. Before, I would have scoffed at the idea of even CONSIDERING an auto in a sports car, however now... to really track (drag) the car, you cannot outshift a dual clutch system, no matter how fast you beat that manual clutch!
