Broken Antenna Base, Please Help

So I was unloading my vibe today and saw that my antenna was hanging on the back of the car by its wire. The metal receiver that the antenna screws on to was forced out of its base. Does anyone have any suggestions for securing it back to the base. Is there some sort of resin that would hold it securely? Or is there another way? I am driving a 2003 vibe.

I'm sure someone here will have some good advice... I'm not sure what would work best, you might want to try adding a picture, it might help better show what exactly is wrong.

I broke mine during the winter and just taped it tightly with electrical tape until the weather gets warm. I think I'll use epoxy to glue it. It would be a major PITA to remove the headliner etc. to replace the base. If the base isn't broken, see if the securing nut fell off the inside. You could attach it with black automotive Goop, it works on everything.

Same thing happened to mine in a car wash, especially if you have an aftermarket post antenna. All I did was take the antenna apart, put the socket part back in, and it has held since.

Similar thing happened to me when I backed out of my garage and the door stopped just above my car. Looking at the rear view mirror it looked clear so I backed out and the antenna snapped against the garage door.I had also dented the roof as well and went to a PDR shop to repair the dent
http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=5967 I replaced the base, you can order it from your local GM or Toyota dealer. You will have to remove the headliner as well to access and remove the base.Headliner removal instructions can be found

Yep, and it isn't fun getting that headliner down so you can access it, either!
