My Next Car

Granted it's about 4 years away, after I own the Trix. But at the moment I really think this would be the perfect car. I'll still need space for cargo, so a large trunk is needed. I'll want comfort so some leather, heated seats, and passenger room. Most likely an auto cause the soon to be wifey doesn't drive standard. And something slick, fast, stylish for just under 30k Certified Pre-Owned.I got it! A Pontiac G8. Why not, 361hp, 385lb. ft. torque, 6 speed automatic, 18" wheels, RWD with an LSD, quad tip dual exhaust, room for a few golf bags, great looks, and power to match. Not to mention buying it CPO off a 1 or 2 year lease with low mileage the car will be under 30k. Figure new it goes for about 31k nicely equipped, but I would pick it up for mid to high twenties. Suhweet!

15/17. Estimated. I'm sure cruising gets you a little more. But not much worse than my fiance's Jeep Liberty. And by then I'll be making more $$$. Worth the trade off.And if gas is really that much, then I'll get an even better deal!

You don't have to worry, with the auto, it's a Six-speed automatic with manual shift mode. http://jalopnik.com/368465/200...-mineEdit: maybe a site for you check out... http://g8board.com/forums/

I know you want the automatic, but I would get the GXP with the six speed manual. I don't know if an auto is available for the GXP.But good choice! I'd like to get one!

not to be a smart (removed).. but if you are waiting a couple of years, that's peachy.. gives them time to work out the kinks that seem to come with the first generation. I agree though, FANTASTIC car, beautiful, powerful, and big... can't complain about much-- that's for sure!
