loyalty rebate

quick question, nothing came up when i searched. i Previoulsy owned a 96 pontiac sunfire that i bought used from a gm dealer named Brad 4 years ago. last october i bought the vibe off Brad new. he did not mention nothing of a loyalty rebate???what are the detail behind this? do both car have to be new???? do you have to request the rebate? i did get 4.9% finacing for 60 months on ocober 29, 2002. anyonw know of the exact rebate programs and financing deals during that time????? please im very interested. for i want i rear cargo matt?lol

I would be curious to know as well. Nothing of this sort was mentioned to me and I have bought 3 new vehicles from the same dealer. Maybe it is just a U.S. thing?

The incentives change quite regularly. The $1000 cash back loyalty was new to the incentive plan for March. For Jan-Feb the plan was $750 off the price, but not cash back (I believe). So things change up. I'm not sure what the incentives were in October 2002.Incentives are probably different between US and Canada, too.

it also depends on regions. here in California, we had what's called a conquest $1000 rebate, you just have to prove you own a car, that's it.
