Greetings Fellow Vibeians (Vibers?) We just picked up a 2009 white Vibe GT out of dealer stock. They had two 2009 Vibes (only one GT). A white GT was my first choice, (and what I had been looking around the local dealerships for.) We turned in a 2005 Equinox on GM’s SmartBuy Pull Ahead Program. This time though, we bought the car. The 2009 is a very cool car, although my 19 year old son said I’m too old for it. Fine, he does not have to be seen with me and my Vibe. BTW, a friend told me that Vibe in Yiddish means "wife". I hope the "wives" won't be jealous of one another.

I bought a '03 GT and I'm moving this week so I traded cars with my dad and he's really enjoying. I would love to hear a review of the '09 GT from someone who has driven the '03 GT. Congrads on the purchase.

oh dang...well then the 2nd or 3rd for sure? the 03GT vs a 09gt is way different. the 03 has the 2zz with lift and this new one is just a 2.4l nothing special :/

You're absolutely right, Ebony is black! Believe it or not, the sticker from the car identifies the color as Ebony. However, according to the Vibe brochure, white is called Ultra White.

After reading your post I literally jumped up in the middle of the night to make sure that the vin number matched my sticker and paper work. It did. In my excitement, I originally only saw "Ebony". Yes Ebony interior; AND Ultra White Exterior.
